Shawnee Smith is an American actor, singer and musician. Smith was born on the 3rd of July, 1970, and is 5'3". Smith is best known for her role as Amanda Young from the Saw films and as Linda for Becker, a CBS comedy Becker. Smith was the founder of Fydolla's Ho, a heavy metal band which toured across both the United States as well as the United Kingdom. Smith also formed Smith & Pyle together with Missi Pyle to form a desert country rock band. Her parents were Jim Smith and Patricia Smith. Jim Smith was an former pilot in the US Air Force, a an oncology physician and financial planner. Family members moved from South Carolina to Van Nuys California in the year she turned a year old her parents divorced at the age of two, and her mother got married at the age of eight. She was a student at Ranchito Avenue Elementary School in Panorama City Los Angeles and Madison Jr. High in North Hollywood. She then went to North Hollywood High School in North Hollywood California and graduated in 1987.
